As injuries have mounted up during Fall Camp leading up to the season for UofL, the same is true for players who are not even yet on the roster. Will Gardner, UofL QB commitment out of Georgia tore his ACL Friday night while leading his team to victory. The Cardinals who beat out a slew of schools for the QB’s commitment, including Alabama, are sticking by their scholarship offer.
With medicine as it is these days, Gardner should heal just fine. And with a 5-7 month recovery time he should be doing just fine next summer when conditioning begins.
